Debbie Griffiths, CPA
Debbie prides herself in long relationships with her clients. She gets to know them personally as well as professionally and tailors her advice and service to the needs of their current life stage. She pays attention to changes in tax laws that affect her clients and looks for ways to save them money.
Tax planning and preparation for businesses and individuals is a significant portion of Debbie's practice. Business owners like the continuity of having one trusted financial professional for their business and personal tax work.
Debbie spends much of her time as part-time Chief Financial Officer for growing businesses. She performs accounting, review, compilation, and consulting services. Business clients include a wide variety of businesses: everything from manufacturing and distribution, to retail, construction and not-for-profits.
Debbie began her career with Deloitte in 1980, rising to the level of senior accountant. Four years later, she became the controller of Giorgio Perfume. In 1988, she started her own CPA practice.
In her personal life, she has been involved in charitable and civic organizations for years. She is an active member at Trinity Presbyterian Church and in 2008 served as the Clerk of Session. Debbie also served as president of the American Women's CPAs of Georgia, the Georgia Women CPAs and on the national board of AWSCPA. She maintains memberships in the AICPA and Georgia Society of CPAs.
Debbie served in numerous leadership roles on PTAs and was president of her neighborhood association, Morningside Lenox Park Association in the early 1990's.
She enjoys spending time with family & friends, hiking in the mountains of North Carolina, cheering for the "Bulldawgs," reading, and perfecting her tennis game.
